Director of Military Programmes of the Razumkov Centre Mykola Sunhurovskyi considers the intensification of attacks to be psychological pressure on Ukraine in the trilateral contact group, informs the news agency Radio Liberty.
The expert stated that Russia was more likely to start intense hostilities “closer to autumn, when a larger-scale training Caucasus 2016 is planned”.
“Preparation for an attack does not take two or three days,” added Mr Sunhurovskyi.
According to him, now a large-scale attack is unlikely because it will lead to the extension or strengthening of the Western sanctions against Russia.
