The new crises and threats from Russia and East would be an opportunity to increase the solidarity of NATO. The solidarity of NATO will be strengthened by consolidating the transatlantic links between Europe and the US – particularly in terms of their open door policy – thereby tightening the solidarity and security not only within borders, but also by enriching western identity with Georgia and Ukraine that account themselves as European.
