A substantive 5+2 in June remains the objective, says OSCE Special Representative for Transdniestrian Settlement Process

CHISINAU, 12 May 2016 – The Special Representative of the German OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the Transdniestrian Settlement Process, Cord Meier-Klodt, today concluded a visit to the region, which included meetings with the chief negotiators in Chisinau and Tiraspol.
“The objective of holding substantive talks in the 5+2 format – as voiced by the Mediators and Observers during their visit in April – remains within reach,” said Meier-Klodt. “The sides have a responsibility to people on both banks of the Dniester/Nistru River to take advantage of this opportunity.
