Environment and Security Initiative’s support towards Sustainable Development Goals and green economy in focus of OSCE-organized discussion in Batumi

BATUMI, 9 June 2016 – The Environment and Security Initiative (ENVSEC) stakeholders discussed today in Batumi how the Initiative can contribute to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and transition to green economy at an ENVSEC side event on the occasion of the Eighth Environment for Europe Ministerial Conference.
The Conference has gathered high-level representatives of the 56 member countries to the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), NGO representatives from the region as well as several regional and international organizations.
