This report is provided for the media and the general public. The SMM monitored the implementation of the “Package of measures for the implementation of the Minsk agreements”. The SMM, based on its monitoring – which was restricted by third parties and by security considerations* – observed a high level of violence in and around Donetsk airport. SMM UAVs spotted large concentrations of military hardware in “DPR”-controlled areas. The level of violence in areas in and around the destroyed “Donetsk People’s Republic” (”DPR”)-controlled Donetsk airport (12km north-west of Donetsk) remained high, with the SMM observing 299 explosions[1].
