OSCE Chairmanship expresses concern about possible escalation in Nagorno-Karabakh

BERLIN, 6 May 2016 – Regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the spokesperson of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, expressed today concern about the situation at the Line of Contact.
He said: “The OSCE Chairmanship urgently calls on the sides to refrain from taking any steps that might fuel a new escalation. The Chairmanship supports the efforts by the OSCE Minsk Group, and the three Co-Chairs of the Minsk Group in particular, to press ahead with their attempts to resolve the conflict through de-escalation, stabilization of the ceasefire, further stabilizing measures and the resumption of negotiations.” …read more
