OSCE Representative warns that legal amendments pose threat to free expression in Bosnia and Herzegovina; offers legal assistance

VIENNA, 27 January, 2015 – OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media Dunja Mijatović today sent a letter to the Speaker of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, warning that the draft Law on Public Peace and Order tabled for adoption at the next session could be used to limit free expression on social media. The draft law on Public Peace and Order extends the definition of public place to the social media.
