KYIV, 2 July 2015 – Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine Alexander Hug will travel to eastern Ukraine on 3 – 6 July to assess the security situation and encourage parties to de-escalate tensions.
Over this period he will visit Kramatorsk, Donetsk and Luhansk, meet the SMM teams working there, conduct meetings with Joint Centre for Control and Coordination representatives and other relevant interlocutors.
Hug will hold press briefings in the late afternoon hours on 3 July 2015 in Kramatorsk, on 4 July in Donetsk and possibly on 5 July 2015 in Luhansk to brief the …read more
