KYIV, 8 April 2015 – The Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine, Alexander Hug, will visit southeast Ukraine over the next two days to encourage parties to further disengage in Shyrokyne and to work towards normalization and demilitarization in the town and surrounding areas. Hug and a team of SMM experts from the Mission based in Kyiv and Mariupol will also look at the humanitarian dimension of this hotspot.
