Tashkent, 1 December 2014 – On the occasion of the formal opening of the limited election observation mission deployed by the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) to observe the 21 December parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan, the mission will hold a press conference in Tashkent on Tuesday, 2 December. Ambassador Daan Everts, Head of the OSCE/ODIHR limited election observation mission, will introduce the role of the mission and its upcoming activities.
