KYIV, 8 September 2015 – The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) will hold a press conference in Kyiv on Wednesday, 9 September for the formal opening of the election observation mission for the 25 October 2015 local elections in Ukraine.
Tana de Zulueta, the Head of the OSCE/ODIHR election observation mission, will introduce the role of the mission and its upcoming activities. The press conference will also provide an opportunity for questions from journalists.
The mission’s deployment follows an invitation from the Ukrainian authorities.
