KYIV, 24 May 2016 – Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM) Alexander Hug will visit Shchastia tomorrow, 25 May, together with fellow monitors to open a new SMM Forward Patrol Base.
Forward Patrol Bases are designed to extend monitors’ presence in areas where the most tensions exist, thereby enabling the Mission to follow up on the incidents faster and more efficiently.
Journalists are invited to attend the opening ceremony tomorrow, 25 May, at 14:30 Kyiv time, at Hotel Oazis, Gagarina st.1N/1, Shchastia, Luhansk region.
