Since 19 March, when the Supervisory Board of Ukrtransnafta decided to dismiss the company’s Chairman Oleksandr Lazorko, and the Verkhovna Rada adopted amendments to the law on joint-stock companies, which, according to its developers, should bring Ukrnafta back under control of the state, the situation around these two companies has escalated almost to an armed conflict, reports the news agency BBC.
