In the comment to the magazine Focus, Co-director of Foreign Relations and International Security Programmes of the Razumkov Centre Oleksiy Melnyk explained why the termination of military and technical cooperation with Russia can do good to Ukraine’s defence industry.
Putin’s statement only proves his unwillingness to name the real reasons and consequences of the situation in which Russia has found itself. Denunciation of the agreements on military and technical cooperation was a formality since de facto this cooperation was terminated last spring.
