Protest mood remains among the miners in Western Ukraine. The reason is wage arrears. Last week, miners of the Stepova mine, which is owned by the state enterprise Lvivvuhillia, even closed the international road Lviv-Rava-Ruska. Later, the protesters agreed to unblock the road but the problem remains, informs the news agency Deutsche Welle.
The situation is also complicated by the disputes with the major consumers of the Western Ukrainian coal.
