The European Union (EU) and the Turkish government have decided to work toward upgrading their Customs Union.[1] The decision comes at a time when two major U.S.-led projects, the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), are slowly but surely progressing.
