The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas is affecting global power dynamics. Russia benefits from the situation, using the crisis to portray Western governments as hypocritical and position itself as a leader against “neocolonialism” (even as Moscow wages a war of imperial conquest against Ukraine).
