For the next 24 hours, the heaviest fighting is taking place at the junction of the Kharkiv, Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. Russian forces have approached Bakhmut from the south-east, and the defenders are resisting them in the vicinity of the villages of Pokrovske and Klynovye (10–15 km east of the city centre).
